Our experience with multi-family residential and other lodging facilities dates back to our founder’s very first project in 1970. Throughout our 50+ year history, we have constructed numerous facilities across the Southeastern United States, including:

  • luxury and boutique hotels
  • rustic lodges
  • on-campus student housing
  • high-end lofts
  • luxury, waterfront condominiums
  • high-rise apartment complexes
  • low-rent and public supportive housing communities
  • senior-living and retirement communities, including rehabilitation services and long-term / nursing care facilities

Our projects in the multi-family market have featured everything from the residential basics (bedrooms, bathrooms, living spaces, kitchens, etc.) to various unique elements, such as:

  • wellness centers, including spas, saunas, gyms, and fitness centers
  • indoor, outdoor, and rooftop pools
  • mixed-use gathering and recreational spaces such as green spaces,
  • fire pits, outdoor cooking areas, performance venues / amphitheaters, water access features, disc golf courses, and miniature golf courses
  • indoor and outdoor food & beverage spaces, including fine dining and casual restaurants, rooftop bars, and grab-and-go shops
    event spaces, including ballrooms, banquet rooms, meeting rooms, and student-focused learning spaces
  • commercial kitchen / food preparation & service areas
  • commercial and residential laundry facilities
  • administrative offices for staff

In the multi-family residential market, we’ve done it all. Our work has encompassed:

  • new constructions
  • partial to complete demolitions
  • historical renovations and adaptive reuse projects
  • projects in tight conditions, such as bustling urban areas and/or adjacent to other active construction sites
  • work performed in or adjacent to occupied facilities that remain in operation
  • sustainable, environmentally-conscious, and innovative practices, including:
    • meeting USGBC’s LEED requirements
    • building under State of Tennessee’s High Performance Building Requirements or HPBr (formerly the State of Tennessee Sustainable Design Guidelines)
    • ensuring that ecological resources such as mature trees and other plant life, bodies of water, and animal species and habitats, are appropriately protected
    • C&D waste diversion
  • coordination and/or installation of owner-provided furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E)
